Update 5/23/20:

It's almost time to come back together for in-person worship, and we are so excited!! But we want you to know that things will look and feel different when you do step back on the campus here at GOOD NEWS. Please take time to review the information below, and if you have any further questions, please let us know.

When Will Good News Gather Together Again?

GOOD NEWS will be open for in-person gatherings beginning June 7th.

Will We Immediately Jump Back Into Our Old Schedule?

We will start off with having only Sunday worship at the church facilities. LIFE Groups and Prayer Meetings will continue on Zoom.

How Will You Ensure That You Are Following The Suggested Guidelines?

We will have two identical services with fewer people in attendance. Please register for the 9am or 11am service above.

Here is what our Sunday schedule will look like:

9:00am - 1st service

10:00am - Sanitizing the building

11:00am - 2nd service

We have setup events on Eventzilla with limited “tickets” available to help ensure that we are sticking to attendance guidelines, keeping in mind that we will have “walk up” guests. Please register for one of our service times above.

Will You Still Have Online Services?

Yes! We will livestream both the 9am and 11am services.

What Can We Expect When We Come To Worship?

Nursury and children's programs are canceled until furthur notice.

We will have family worship, so we will make praise packs available for children. Children have a hard time with physical distancing, so to put parents’ minds at ease, we will have children stay in the auditorium with their parents.

Upon arrival, follow the directional signage to your seat.

We have set up groups of chairs 6ft away from each other.

Sit in a group of chairs that is appropriate for your group size. (Group of 5 people sit in a group of 5 chairs etc...)

Please remain at your seat until you are dismissed at the end of service.

When you are dismissed, return directly to your car.

We will have hand sanitizer readily available in all common areas.

We will have a greeter outside standing in the parking lot at least six feet away from the door welcoming people to church and answering any questions that guests might have.

We will have locked offering boxes on stands near the platform for people to give their offering. We will not pass an offering plate around the room.

We are encouraging guests to bring their own coffees and refreshments with them. There will be no coffee or refreshments served at the church.

Our narrow hallway will be a one way, to ensure that no one has to come into face to face close contact with someone else.

What precautions can people take when they come to Good News?

While on the campus of GOOD NEWS, please participate in the following:

Physical distancing (at least 6ft apart).

Contact free zone (wave & smile, no hugging, handshaking, etc...

Hand sanitizing (available in all common areas).

Hand washing (after use of the restroom).

Masks are optional (bring your own if you want to wear one).

Follow all directional signage (our narrow hallway will be a one way).

How Will LIFE Groups Fit Into The New Schedule?

LIFE Groups will remain online in ZOOM for the time being.

LIFE Groups will not be held in conflict with any of our worship services.

LIFE Group leaders will pick the time and day to hold their meetings, and then post the ZOOM link in their group slack channel.

People will have the choice to attend whatever online meeting they want, regardless of what group they attended at our physical location.

Final Thoughts

Prayer Meeting will remain online in ZOOM for the time being.

No other social gatherings will be held at the church for the foreseeable future.

As suggested restrictions continue to let up, the Leadership Team will review and revise our schedule.

We love you and can't wait to see you again soon at one of our services! If you have any needs, please let us know.
